Report: Assassin's Creed III's Wii U Support Detailed
According to the latest issue of Nintendo Power, Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed III Wii U version will utilize the console's tablet-like controller as a link between the actual game and Animus.
Supposedly the Wii U's controller will have a persistent map on it while the game is on the actual TV. The tablet controller will also display encyclopedia entries and data logs, allowing the game to go uninterrupted on the television screen.
The controller will also utilize its touch-screen function to switch weapons and give you an alternate view for Eagle Vision.
Assassin's Creed III is out in October for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC with the Wii U version to be a launch title before the year is out.
