Report: Sony Spending $50M For PS Vita US Marketing
According to a recent report Sony is set to spend nearly $50 million to market the US launch of the PS Vita.
The
New York Times report is quoting Sony Computer Entertainment of America's senior director John Koller as saying that the PS Vita's campaign would be “the largest platform launch in terms of marketing investment we’ve ever had.”
The US marketing blitz will have the theme of "Never Stop Playing", and will apparently be targeted at 20-something's that only game 8 hours a week and own a PlayStation 3.
The PS Vita launches in the US and Europe on February 22.
