Warner Bros. 2011 Was Pretty Great
Warner Bros. released their full 2011 yearly earnings statement today citing Mortal Kombat and Batman: Arkham City as two titles that propelled them to a great year financially.
The publisher reported a yearly growth in earnings of nearly 9% which brought their yearly total to $12.6 billion in sales. Arkham City, Mortal Kombat, and several of their "LEGO" titles were a main reason for the publishers success.
WB also confirmed that Batman: Arkham City has shipped 6 million units worldwide with their Films and Entertainment sector (which includes video games) seeing a 7% increase from 2010, totaling $3.9 billion.
