Nintendo: EU Wii Sales Cross 30 Million

Nintendo have announced that the Wii console have sold over 30 million units in Europe.

That number is sales from 2006 which makes the Wii the biggest selling console of this current video game generation.

Numbers from last year point to the PlayStation 3 selling close to 22 million units with the Xbox 360 having unknown numbers.

Nintendo also announced that the Wii Balance Board has sold over 41.6 million units since its launch in 2008.

The Balance Board came with packaged with Wii Fit, which has sold 22.6 million units, then transitioned to Wii Fit Plus with 19.3 million units.
