Microsoft Flight Goes Free This Spring

Microsoft have announced that their upcoming flight simulation Microsoft Flight will be a free download this spring.

After download if you sign in to the game with your Games for Windows LIVE account you will receive additional free content. That additional content includes the Boeing Stearman plane, additional missions, Achievement access, and an Online Pilot profile.

If you're a serious pilot you can purchase the full game with the additional content to unlock new aircraft, regions, and customization options. Owning the game will also allow you to receive regular game updates.

Microsoft Flight will also allow players to fly the ICON A5 before production of the actual craft begins at the end of the year. ICON Aircraft and Microsoft worked hand in hand to bring the ICON A5 to life within the game. The company are the manufacturers of the Voyager spacecraft, the X-prize winning craft SpaceShipOne, as well as Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo.

The game is still in closed beta so there is time to sign up for the open beta still.
