Alan Wake Going To PC In Q1 2012

Remedy have announced that they are aiming to release their original Alan Wake title on the PC in early 2012.

The developer is gearing up to release the original title around the same time the game's spin-off XBLA title "American Nightmare" is released. The PC version of the game is set to come with both DLC episodes The Signal and The Writer.

A PC version of the game was originally planned for release alongside the Xbox 360 version but was canceled due to Microsoft wanting Remedy to focus on the 360 version. The game was spotted on Steam's registry a little while back, so you know you'll be able to play through there when it is released.

We'll keep you up-to-date on this one.
