DC Universe Goes Free To Play November 1

Sony Online Entertainment has confirmed that their MMORPG DC Universe Online will be going free-to-play on November 1, this Tuesday.

You will be able to have both a subscription package as well as the free-to-play option side-by-side. If you choose to opt for the F2P option you will have access to both Gotham and Metropolis as well as all raids and alerts.

If you wind up spending more than $5 in-game you will be upgraded to a "premium" player, which will give you more character slots as well as inventory slots and bigger cash limits.

If you want to become a "Legendary" player you will have to spend more than $15 per month, which basically gives you access to everything the game has to offer.
