Fils-Aime: Skyward Sword To Keep Wii Relevant

Nintendo of America bossman, Reggie Fils-Aime, recently stated that the upcoming Wii title, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, will allow the Nintendo Wii to stay ahead of other motion control competitors.

In an interview with IGN, Fils-Aime stated,
“I think the best example of how we continue to be distinctive and innovative is going to be Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword."

“Because now you have a motion based game that’s a traditional, core type of product.”
Fils-Aime said that the only way the Wii is going to stay ahead of the 360 or PS3 is to stay revolutionary.
“That’s how we’re going to continue to drive Wii, moving into the future, regardless of what our competitors do. Not just our direct competitors, but all of our competitors. We have to have great content, and that’ll drive the business.”
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is out later this year.
