Dragon Age II Demo Available Now

BioWare has officially released the Dragon Age II demo for your downloading pleasure. It's up on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

Bioware's Graeme Boyd tweeted the confirmation. The demo is nearly 2 gigs worth of space, so make sure you have enough on that 20 gig hard drive you're sporting.

The demo will revolve around the game's protagonist, Hawke, as you trek through the title's prologue. You will have a choice of three different classes upon starting the demo. Once you complete the taster, you will gain access to “a key new location in the world of Dragon Age, Kirkwall, befriending Isabela, a romantic interest in the game who is also a deadly smuggler.”

You will also gain access to a new weapon, Hayder's Razor, “an ancient dwarven blade which increases health, mana, and combat abilities, in the full release of Dragon Age II.”

Dragon Age II is out on March 8 in the US and March 11 in the UK for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
