Dragon Age II Demo "Just Speculation" Says BioWare
BioWare doesn't want you to get your hopes up concerning a demo for their upcoming sequel, Dragon Age II. Reports that a demo is coming for the game are "just speculation" says the developer.
David Gaider, the game's lead writer, stated on the
BioWare forums that word of the demo coming was premature;
“The demo is not ‘confirmed’,” said Gaider. “We have made no official announcement.
“This is speculation, and no matter what it’s based on it shouldn’t be so misleading.”
Gaider continued: “Regardless of what you think we should or shouldn’t be doing (it’s not my place to give info) please keep the fact that this is still all speculation in mind and that you’re self-referencing here.”
This response was prompted by a report that GameStop employees would be getting the Dragon Age II demo on February 11 before the rest of the gaming world gets it on February 23.
Dragon Age II is out on March 8 in the US and March 11 in the UK for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
