Dragon Age II Demo Confirmed

BioWare has confirmed a release date for their Dragon Age II demo.

The demo will be released on all platforms on February 22. This news comes after BioWare issued a statement earlier today that rumors of a DA2 demo were "just speculation" and that nothing was imminent.

Apparently they just didn't want their thunder stolen.

The demo will take place during the games' prologue which will allow you to experience three different classes. After “finishing the prologue, players will enter a key new location in the world of Dragon Age, Kirkwall, befriending Isabela, a romantic interest in the game who is also a deadly smuggler.”

When you complete the demo you will unlock a special weapon, Hayder's Razor. The sword is “an ancient dwarven blade which increases health, mana, and combat abilities, in the full release of Dragon Age II.”

Dragon Age II is out on March 8 in the US and March 11 in Europe for the PS3, 360, and PC.
