Mindjack Gets US & Japanese Release Date

Square Enix has announced that they will be releasing the title Mindjack in the US on January 18 and in Japan on January 27. There was no European date announced.

Mindjack is a third person shooter for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 which will contain co-op gameplay, mind control abilities, with other cool experiences. It's set to be a “blur the line between traditional single- and multi-player gameplay, creating a campaign experience where non-playable characters can, at any moment, transform into human-controlled allies or gun-toting foes”.

The game is set in the year 2031 where Jim Corbijn (a government agent) who gets caught up in the war between government and corporations. To fight back against the powers to be he's able to take control of characters throughout the game with his mind.
