CoD: Black Ops To Feature Split Screen Online Multiplayer

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops will feature split screen online multiplayer, which is a nice addition none-the-less.

Joseph Olin, of Treyarch, relayed the news on the US PS Blog saying that you will be able to connect another controller and have someone play as a guest online as well as have your guest rank up, earn unlockable items, etc (all progress goes back to zero once the guest logs out though).

Call of Duty: Black Ops is out on November 9 for the PS3, 360, Wii, DS, and PC.
