Gran Turismo 5 Delayed In US, UK, and Japan
Sony has announced that their upcoming racing title, Gran Turismo 5, has been delayed in the US, UK, and Japan.

The racer was originally due out in the US on November 2 and the next day for the UK and Japan.

Sony did not give an update on a new release date but stated that the game will still launch before the end of the year. PlaystationEU tweeted that a new release date will come before the end of the month.

The US PS Blog released a statement, saying;
“We can confirm that Gran Turismo 5 will not be available this November 2nd, but the game’s release will be coming this holiday season."

“We sincerely apologize to GT fans for the delay, however, creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience, and we are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches.”
Sony has offered up this statement;
“We are sorry to say that Gran Turismo 5 will not be available on the previously announced release date of November 3rd, but the game will be released before Christmas,” said the company.

“We sincerely apologise to GT fans for the delay, however creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the team at Polyphony Digital want to make certain they are creating a racing experience of the highest quality.

“We are confident that this ambitious game will exceed expectations when it launches later this year. We’ll have more information for you in the near future.”
With an updated tweet by PlaystationEU;
"Yes, the GT5 European has also been delayed, we are sorry to say. We expect to confirm a new release date before the end of the month."
We just might never see this game.
