Epic To Purchase APB?

Epic To Purchase APB?
According to reports, APB may have a potential buyer in Epic Games.

As we told you yesterday, RealTime World's recently released MMO, APB, was to be shut down within 24 hours and had gone "free-to-play" until the servers were turned off.
“Mark [Rein, Epic Games VP] absolutely loves APB, and everyone here loved what they saw,” said Epic PR, Dana Cowley.

“We’ve got our hands full of Gears of War 3, Bulletstorm and the recently announced Project Sword. If any talks like that are going on, then they would be confidential.”
APB used Epic's Unreal Engine 3 as it's main game engine, so it's not far fetched that Epic would be interested in acquiring the IP.

We'll keep you posted.
