Medal Of Honor Being Pulled From Military GameStop Locations

Medal Of Honor Being Pulled From Military GameStop Locations
According to Kotaku, GameStop is pulling all their Medal of Honor pre-orders from their stores on US military bases.

The game is apparently being pulled from the on-base stores due to players being able to play as the Taliban in the upcoming Medal of Honor game. According to GameStop, the game is being pulled “out of respect for our past and present men and women in uniform."

If you happen to be US military personnel living on a US military base you will have to go off-base to buy the game.
“As such, GameStop agreed to have all marketing material pulled by noon today and to stop taking reservations. Customers who enter our AAFES stores and wish to reserve Medal of Honor can and should be directed to the nearest GameStop location off base,” A GameStop memo further reads.

“GameStop fully supports AAFES in this endeavor and is sensitive to the fact that in multiplayer mode one side will assume the role of Taliban fighter.”
The game is out October 12 in the US and October 15 in the UK for the PS3, 360, and PC.
