Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Gets Release Date

Konami has announced that their upcoming title, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, will be releasing on October 5 in the US and October 7 in Europe for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Konami also announced that the game will be getting two DLC episodes not long after the game is launched and that both DLC episodes will continue the story from the end of the original title.

Konami says the game has “over 50 diverse and beautifully realized 3D stages, over 45 enemies, huge adversaries, and over 40 possible combo attacks that can be added to Gabriel’s arsenal." Konami has also stated in the past that the game will run you about 20 gameplay hours.

A Limited Edition of the game was announced that will include the game (two discs on the 360), an art book, soundtrack, and special packaging. The LE will run you $79.99.
