RealTime Worlds Lays Off Entire MyWorld Team
There is speculation floating around right now that RealTime Worlds (developer behind the original Crackdown title and the more recent title, APB) has laid off their entire MyWorld staff.
“The MyWorld team has been completely laid off.
“As many as 60 may have gone, but there’s a rumour they may be trying to sell the team as a smaller entity. I don’t know the exact figure.” A source close to RealTime World's said.
Apparently the bad news doesn't end there for the developer. Those same sources claim an email was sent out to RealTime World staffers saying that massive cuts could be made to the team behind the recently released PC MMO, APB.
Sources have told
VG247 that RealTime World's is looking for a buyer as their financial situation has gone from bad to worse.
