Mafia II Comes With Steamworks, Pre-Order To Get Original Mafia For Free
2K has announced that Mafia II for the PC will be shipped with Steamworks, which means the game will auto-update and come with Steam achievements, statistics, and downloadable content. They also announced that if you pre-order the PC version of Mafia II you will receive a code to download the original Mafia title for free.
Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K said;
“Using Steamworks to power Mafia II has been a great benefit for 2K Games and our development team. It’s meant that we can spend more time creating content and a great experience for our customers because we know that Steam and Steamworks are enabling these important features within the game.”
Mafia II is out in the US on August 24 while the rest of the world gets it August 27 for the PS3, 360, and PC.
