Fight Night: Champion Announced For 2011
EA Sports has announced Fight Night: Champion for a 2011 release on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It's being developed by EA Vancouver who claims the game's biggest selling point will be a new single-player mode that will “break the mold of what is expected in a single-player sports game. Players will be introduced to an entirely new way to step between the ropes and experience the drama, emotion, excitement and tragedy of world championship boxing.”
In an interview with IGN, EA Sports' Brian Hayes said that there will be roughly 60-65 fighters in the game. A new gameplay feature called "The Full Spectrum Punch" has also been added to the game allowing for more realistic knockouts.
EA is supposed to be unveiling more new games later today, so be on the lookout for that.
