Dead Island DLC due on February 1st
The downloadable content for Dead Island that will allow players to play as protagonist Ryder White will be released on February 1st.
Where normally players play as humans stranded on an island and fighting for survival against an undead infestation, the $10 DLC will allow them to swap sides and play as Ryder White, the game's main protagonist, offering "several hours" extra gameplay. Two bonus weapon blueprints will also be available with the DLC.
Deep Silver say the new content will let players learn "why he (White) did what he had to do."
It will be available for 800 Microsoft points on Xbox Live, $10 on Playstation Network and $10 through steam for PC.
