Aliens and Predators coming to Australia

We posted some news last week that another game - Aliens vs Predator - had been banned by the Australian censorship board, the OFLC. There was an appeal pending in the hope that Aussies could get a taste of some Alien and Predator action.

Well, Christmas is a time for good news, and thats exactly what I've got for Aussie gamers. Sega's appeal was successful, and the game will be heading to Australian game stores on Februaty 18th, 2010.

A quote from the Sega spokesperson:

“On the back of the successful appeal last Friday we are delighted to confirm that beyond the standard edition for the game, we will be delivering two Special Editions - Survivor and Hunter”, said Darren Macbeth, Managing Director SEGA Australia. “The team at Rebellion have been true to the Aliens and Predator universes and created a title that allows gamers to experience first-hand all the thrill, tension and excitement of the Aliens and Predator movies.”
