Splinter Cell Conviction Collector's Edition announced!

Ubisoft revealed the Collector's Edition for the upcoming 360 and PC epic, Splinter Cell Conviction today. For $79.99, you will get access to quite a few goodies. Whether they are worth the extra twenty bucks is up to you.


The Collector's Edition will be placed in a metal case similar to other special editions, with the game disc and manual included. An art book with art from all of the previous games and a comic book that serves as a prequel to the events of the game are included. Two decals, one of the three bullet holes arranged like the trademark night vision goggles and the Third Echelon logo, as well as an exclusive downloadable multiplayer weapon and skin round out the typical CE offering.

The neat addition is a credit card sized USB device that can fit in your wallet. The device will work with the 360, and contains various bonus extras like art, wallpapers and a making-of video. It might not be as impressive as a giant pair of night vision goggles, but for the price I can't complain.
