Character crossovers have been around for quite some time, with unlockable skins of characters from other games popping up every now and again. The most recent, prominent occurrence of this that I can remember was the Altair skin in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Well, EA is at it this time, although their crossover is between two games that they publish. Are you that one guy who was hoping to get a little Dead Space in your Battlefield Heroes? Well, you've got your wish. Everyone else, here's a pleasant surprise.

GamersFirst has
released application details for the closed beta for their upcoming free-to-play relaunch of APB. As is to be expected at this early stage, there's not much to do besides signing up to be in the pool of beta applicants. Trion Worlds also released a new trailer that takes a stab at World of Warcraft while showing some pretty standard fantasy content.

Twitter, "If everything goes exactly like the plan , the Closed Beta will be launched somewhere in late February." They later went on to
say that "Closed Beta applications will go live [this] week." It was initially stated as next week, but has since been
corrected.
