House of the Dead 3 and 4 Coming Exclusively to PSN

Sega announced today that the third and fourth entries in the popular light gun shooter franchise will see a digital rerelease exclusively on the Playstation Network this year.

The games are getting the expected HD updates, with added trophy and Move support. House of the Dead 3 originally saw release in arcades and on Xbox in 2002, but House of the Dead 4 - released to arcades in 2005 - has never seen a console release.

House of the Dead 3 will hit PSN on Feburary 7, with House of the Dead 4 following sometime "this spring." I've yet to get Move controllers for myself, but this release might actually be enough to put me over the edge. Few games remind me of childhood trips to arcades the way House of the Dead does, and the nostalgia alone could be worth the investment.
