Today's "Countdown to 2012" Discounts Celebrate Halo

For the three of you who both have an Xbox Live connection and don't have Halo: Reach, the digital version, along with its map packs and some accessories, are discounted today in the Countdown to 2012 promo.

Halo: Reach is 25% off in the Games on Demand market, while the Noble and Defiant map packs have been discounted to 400 MS points. Two Reach themes, Anchor 9 and Noble Team, will now only run you 120 MS points each, so, if you feel the need to deck out your dash with Halo themes, now would be the time. Lastly, there are a pair of Avatar accessories on sale, so if you've been dying to get that energy sword prop or kit out your avatar with Spartan armor, you can get those for 120 and 200 MS points, respectively.

These deals will be good for today only, and more will go up tomorrow.
