3DS eShop Getting First Demos in Japan, Kid Icarus: Uprising to Have Online Multiplayer
The Nintendo Direct press conference last night was light on news, but that's not to say there was nothing of note. Iwata did have a few reveals up his sleeve.
Four 3DS titles have demos launching on the eShop as of today: Resident Evil: Revelations, Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, and Rhythm Thief. No word yet on if or when these demos will hit the rest of the world.
Several Japanese release dates were also revealed/confirmed. New reveals include Dynasty Warriors Musou Vs. on March 15 and Fire Emblem on April 19. Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance still has wide release window that will hopefully be narrowed down soon.
The multiplayer in forthcoming title Kid Icarus: Uprising is fairly straightforward. There will be standard versus matches, up to 3v3, along with a Battle Royale mode.
