Crysis 2 Delayed Until 2011

EA has announced that Crysis 2 has been pushed into 2011. The information comes by way of their just-released financials.

The shooter was originally slated for a Holiday 2010 release, and had actually been pushed up to Fall in mid-June. While delays aren't unusual, I can't remember the last time a game was pushed up and then delayed past the original release window.

The game is now slated for a Q4 FY2011 release. For those of you who still don't quite have a grip on the Fiscal Year (I can never remember) the new release window is July 1-September 30, 2011.

Update: It appears the game has been pushed only to Q1 of calendar year 2011, meaning January-March. Sorry for the confusion and misinformation.

Update 2: Actually, it appears I'm just a complete idiot. While definitions of the US fiscal year operate on a Oct 1-Sept 30 basis, apparently EA does not. EA's Q4 FY2011 is the January to March release window that I've stated in the first update. Really, I'm just an ass.
