Halo: Combat Evolved PC Keys Unlock Reward in Halo: Reach

Halo: Combat Evolved PC Keys Unlock Reward in Halo: Reach
Bungie is earning a track record of showing support for their fans. Most recently, when the servers for the original incarnation of Xbox Live (kept alive, mostly, by Halo 2) were going down, Bungie gave all of the hardcore and long-lasting fans of that game beta keys for the Halo: Reach beta as a sign of gratitude for being so dedicated to the franchise.

Bungie is doing something similar, this time with PC and Mac gamers.

For everyone who purchased and activated a copy of the first game, Halo: Combat Evolved, their PC key can be used in-game with Halo: Reach to unlock a special reward. "The reward is a small "visual flair" as was described during the last days of Halo 2 for players of that game," as stated by Bungie. They have confirmed that it's "not armor or anything in the Armory."

And, unfortunately for loyal Xbox fans, there's apparently no way of telling if you played the original Xbox version of Halo, so this reward will only be available to those that have played the PC or Mac version. And don't go rushing out to buy a PC copy now and activate it. Only codes activated prior to May 26 will be eligible to redeem this reward.
