Boba Fett Will Appear in Force Unleashed II

Some interesting news will be coming out of Comic-Con today. Apparently Haden Blackman, project lead on the Force Unleashed games, told USA Today's Game Hunters that he would be revealing a new main character in The Force Unleashed II's storyline.

Yeah, I know. You read the title, you already know who it is. And you're really excited. I get it. Boba Fett is one of the biggest badasses in the Star Wars universe. And now you get to fight him. In the beginning of Force Unleashed II, Starkiller (the player character) escapes the cloning facility on Kamino. To take care of the problem, Vader hires Boba Fett. And, instead of going after Starkiller, Fett instead decides to go after the love interest from the first game, Juno Eclipse, in order to lure Starkiller back to Vader.

Is this a great idea? Hell yeah. Adding Boba Fett just adds to the overall cinematic feel of these games, and Lucas himself has said that they can be considered canon to the Star Wars storyline (with one of the several different endings for each game, of course). We may get more details when the official announcement comes out of Comic-Con later, or he may just tell us what we already know. Regardless, I'm certainly looking forward to the bounty hunter's next game outing.
