BioWare and FUNimation Sign Deal to Make Dragon Age Anime Movie

BioWare and FUNimation Sign Deal to Make Dragon Age Anime Movie
A press release that came out earlier today announced a deal between BioWare and FUNimation to develop a Dragon Age anime movie. There are no details beyond that, though there may not be any if this deal was just finalized.

“Anime is a great medium for us to continue the robust Dragon Age story,” said Mark Darrah, Executive Producer for the Dragon Age franchise. “Partnering with FUNimation ensures that we are delivering the exceptional quality and entertainment value that our Dragon Age fans expect.”

The idea definitely has some promise, and if I would trust any studio to make sure it gets done right, it would be BioWare. I'm more than happy to take in anything that expands a universe like this and it's nice to have something to watch, as opposed to read, in that respect.
