Pirates of the Burning Sea will celebrate their two-year anniversary on January 23, 2010 by having an in game event. During the event players can try their luck against the creators of Pirates of the Burning Sea. Game rewards will be given to the winners.

Flying Lab Software is releasing a major update for the game. Many new and updated features are going to be implemented such as a completely revamped Avatar combat system. In fact there are a ton of new features in the game and you can go here to check all of them out.

It's hard to believe that two years has passed since this great MMORPG first burst upon the pirate enthusiast game scene. It took quite a while for the game to be released after it was first announced but the wait sure was worth it as the game has won numerous "best of" awards.

I remember being very excited about this online pirate game that featured game play as a swash-buckling pirate plying the Caribbean Sea in search of fame and fortune. The player could choose from an assortment of different character classes and they could pick the nationality their character held. Add in the human element present in an online world and you had the makings of a smash hit.

Flying Lab Software did a fantastic job in the development of this hit pirate game so we can be sure to expect many more years of ship to ship combat and sword fights in the vast Caribbean.

Three cheers for Pirates of the Burning Sea. Happy Birthday!
