Thoughts on Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe

I've heard a lot of worrying about the new Mortal Kombat game that is set to include DC characters, but out of all the comments there is one thing I'm seeing repeated, and that is that everyone is only thinking about classic DC superheroes. Don't forget:

-There are a lot of great DC supervillains more that evil enough to "finish" an opponent. Shit, there are a lot of villains in the DC universe that make Shao Khan look like a boy scout.

-DC also includes images such as Vertigo, with characters like Morpheus of Sandman and John Constantine of Hellblazer and V of V for Vendetta.

Do I expect to see DC Villains or more obscure DC characters from Vertigo, Helix or Wildstorm? I'm definitely not getting my hopes up, but the possibility is certainly there.
