Duke Nukem Forever playable Down Under this weekend
Australian gamers will have a chance to play Duke Nukem Forever this weekend. Gearbox and the Mana Bar are organizing a a hands-on event that is open to the general public on Saturday the 16th. Of course the chances are that you'll be queuing up three blocks away from Mana Bar's Brisbane venue, so I would leave early if I were you. Oh, and while you're there, we're all out of the juice, so if you can pick up a few bottle's of blue, it would be much appreciated.
Forever is nearly here– Duke Nukem Forever playable at the Mana Bar in Brisbane, Australia!

Wednesday 13th October 2010 – Duke Nukem Forever will be making its first and ONLY appearance in Australia this year at the first video game bar, the Mana Bar in Brisbane Australia this Saturday!

Duke Nukem Forever has been in development for over 12 years, with Gearbox Software and 2K Games confirming the release of the game for early 2011. Duke Nukem Forever is the sequel to the hugely popular Duke Nukem 3D, whereby the game and its protagonist have become pop culture legend, and spawned countless imitators and iconic catch phrases.

On Saturday the 16th of October, the President of Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford will be flying to the Mana Bar in Australia to showcase the unreleased game, giving the Australian public the chance to play the game themselves on 5 screens from midday to midnight.

2K Games will also be giving away prize packs every hour on the hour, and a special Q&A with Randy Pitchford will be hosted by the Mana Bar’s Yahtzee Croshaw.
