Black Ops DLC Map Pack Announced

Black Ops DLC Map Pack Announced
Getting bored of those same old maps on Black Ops yet? Well as was highly anticipated, the first DLC was announced yesterday on Major Nelson's podcast. The pack will be called First Strike.

Announced by Treyarch's Dan Bunting on Major Nelson's show was that the DLC would be a Xbox 360 exclusive for a period of time. So once again to those PS3 and PC owners, sorry but Activision just do not like you it would seem.

The release date for the 360 owners out there was announced to be February 1st 2011, so you still have a month and a bit to wait yet.

The First Strike DLC will include 4 new multiplayer maps and 1 new zombie map. And as usual it is going to cost you a whole 1200 MSP ($15).

The maps are as follows:

1. Berlin Wall - this will have players battling on either side of the famous German divide.
2. Discovery - an Antarctic German research station that was abandoned in World War II - Reznov's mission
3. Kowloon - a map based on the rooftops in Kowloon, China.
4. Stadium - a rather odd choice, but no doubt will be fun as this is an American hockey rink. It may get slippy!

And lastly you have the new zombie map which is called Ascension, no further details as of yet.
