BioWare Bazaar hide-and-go-seek

BioWare Bazaar hide-and-go-seek
Well, after a contentious beginning, the vaunted BioWare Bazaar EPIC event has finally started with the much anticipated auctions. That is, much anticipated in the US (not including Florida or New York) anyway. HOWEVER, it takes a certain amount of hide-and-go-seek to get to where the auctions are being held. (Anyone at BioWare ever hear the terms "user-friendly" or "intuitive interface"? Apparently not.)

Anyway, here's a shortcut: click here

As an additional note, if you do NOT have a Twitter and/or Facebook account (preferably both) you probably won't be winning any auctions. I have a grand total of 5950 tokens, which is the max you can accrue without the Facebook and Twiiter additions. Looking at the list of auctions winners thus far, I see that the lowest winning bid was greater than 9000 tokens.

So, we see that Bioware, in trying to "give something back to the gaming community" has narrowed the pool to be ONLY US citizens (NOT in Florida or New York), and only if you do Facebook and Twitter, and most likely only if you are VERY active on those social networks.

My, my, don't the rest of us feel special?

[Yeah, yeah to all of you BioWare apologists out there. Yes, the participants were limited to just in the US (NOT in Florida or New York) at the last minute because of "legal complications" for contests that are international. But, really now, it's time to get real. BioWare was working on the Bazaar project for _months_, and you think they only learned of those complications at the last minute, just before the launch announcement? Either BW is lying, and/or the project leaders were/are grossly incompetent. Either reason is NOT a good performance review for the EPIC event to "give something back to the gaming community". And the ensuing promises to make it up to all the non-US gamers that had their hopes dashed has me thinking of the kinds of promises you get from a seasoned politician.]
