Halo: Reach Hitting Worldwide(almost) in September

While there has been speculation that Halo: Reach would be coming in September, a date has been nailed down in what seems to me as the most unlikely of places: an Associated Press report about the Reach beta.

The article states that Halo: Reach will be hitting practically worldwide on September 14th, while Japan will be getting the game a day later. First we knew that the game would be coming, vaguely, in the Fall. But, it seems Bungie has a thing for ruining students' beginning days of the school year as this is yet another release coming in September. And now the countdowns can officially, correctly begin. Only 113 days until we'll have the final Bungie-created installment in the Halo franchise in our hands.
