Starcraft II Finally Dated

What's this? An actual, tangible, to-the-day release date for Starcraft II? Blizzard is notorious for giving vague "uh...[insert season here] 2010?" as an answer to a game's release, so you know they're serious when they set an actual release date. Alright, alright, I'll cut to the chase.

July 27.

Starcraft II will be fully playable, worldwide, at the end of July. Just a few short months away.

And when Blizzard says worldwide, they mean it. July 27 is the game's release date for: United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Russia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the most widespread global release of any game ever.

Was it worth the wait? Only 85 days left until we can find out for ourselves. Now, how about some word on Diablo III, eh Blizzard?
