Call of Duty: Black Ops Revealed Early
There's been a lot of talk lately about the next Call of Duty game, in development by Treyarch. Many sites referenced a report yesterday that revealed the game to be set in Vietnam. And while that hasn't been discounted yet, the game's teaser site went live a little early and revealed the new game's title.
Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Okay, so it's not Call of Duty: Vietnam. That doesn't mean it won't take place in Vietnam. An interesting concept I've heard is one where the game revolves around a small black ops task force in various Cold War locales. It would give the series a more Battlefiled: Bad Company feel, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
As far as the teaser site goes, it's basically devoid of any info. There's links to related Twitter and Facebook pages, and a Twitter feed of #CODBlackOps. The only thing that's come out of the site is the game's release date, as seen in the image. November is, once again, the month for Call of Duty.
More to come when the trailer airs tonight on GameTrailers TV on Spike at 12:40am (technically Saturday). I'll be doing my best to capture it and post it until there's a direct feed trailer live on GameTrailers.com
