The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is On Its Way to PC
2K Play announced today that popular XBLA title The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom will be available for download through Steam on April 20. You can check out our review
here. Unsurprisingly, this version is not being developed by The Odd Gentlemen, the original developers, but by 2K China. Fortunately, though, the PC version will sport some new features over its XBLA counterpart.
The game will be enhanced for Steam, so there will be expanded leaderboard options, Steam achievements, and Steam Cloud, which allows players to access game saves from any computer they log into with their Steam account. On top of that, the game will also feature five new puzzles.
Seeing as I don't add Microsoft Points to my Live account often enough to enjoy most XBLA titles, I'm glad this is coming to Steam, as I'll be sure to get it now. Do you guys already have it on Xbox 360 and don't think this is worth bothering with? Or maybe you want to pick up this new version anyway? Or, like me, is this the perfect opportunity to play the game for the first time?
