Firewalker Pack Hits Cerberus Network
As promised, the biggest batch of free DLC to hit Mass Effect 2's Cerberus Network is out to all users today. For reference, here's Bioware's description of the pack:
Download the Firewalker pack and gain access to 5 new missions featuring the Hammerhead. The Hammerhead is a heavy assault vehicle that hovers over the battlefield at up to 120 kilometers per hour and features a guided missile system ensuring accuracy even during aggressive maneuvering.
The Alternate Appearance Pack, the first paid DLC pack, is also available today, for 160 Microsoft Points ($2). This pack features alternate costumes for Jack, Garrus, and Thane. It really rings of something that would be distributed for free on the Cerberus Network, so the fact that it's paid seems a little odd. Still, we've got Kasumi's Stolen Memory coming in a few short weeks. Now that will be worth paying for.
