Alright, everyone. The wait is (almost) over. God of War III has been dated for March 16 in the US, March 19 in the UK, and March 25 in Japan. Sorry, my Aussie friends, the Australian release date hasn't been revealed. All we know about the Australian version is that Kratos will be fully clothed, as will all of the goddesses, there will be no sex minigame, and the excess of blood is replaced by your enemies simply turning into kittens after you kill them.
God of War III is being purported by many across the gaming world as the biggest release of 2010. Personally, I don't know if it can really be decided yet. The likes of Mass Effect 2 (the highest rated Xbox 360 exclusive, according to Metacritic) and Bioshock 2 in the coming months, with Final Fantasy XIII on the coattails of God of War III, and with Halo: Reach most likely coming this Fall, it's a bit zealous to call God of War III the
biggest release this year. At least, this early.
Regardless, we'll know in a mere 46 days just how big God of War III's release will be.
