Bayonetta Updated for PS3

Bayonetta Updated for PS3
Sony has put out an update for the PS3 version of Bayonetta. Finally, players will get a small reprieve from some of the PS3 version's lesser qualities. The 138 MB download will enable installing the game to the PS3's hard drive, a welcome feature. After waiting for fifteen minutes and watching 4.5GB of your hard drive slowly eaten away, you'll be able to play a slightly improved Bayonetta.

The disc install improves the same quality as usual: load times. The launch version was known to have unbearably long load times between chapters and even had short load times at simple sequences, like picking up items, or when skipping cutscenes. Now, the chapter-to-chapter load times are much shorter and are practically non-existent elsewhere. While this update doesn't fix the frequent screen tearing and other issues that the badly ported PS3 version face, this is still an improvement, which I'm sure the players are more than happy for.
