How could I not pick this up as soon as it came out? One of my most anticipated sequels, regardless of whether or not there was really a need for it.

Square Enix promised to make a big announcement today, regarding Final Fantasy XIII, and they didn't disappoint. They unveiled a new trailer that's left fans drooling, though not as much because of the scenes that are in it. The end of the trailer revealed the EU and US release date of March 9, 2010. So, Final Fantasy fans rejoice, because our time is nigh.
This is also a historic moment, as it marks the first time that a Final Fantasy game has released on multiple platforms at the same time. Check out the announcement tailer below.
