Though there's no clear evidence that it really is her it seems that the original partners that started out the Resident Evil franchise are back together for their now-gen debut. This latest image, taken directly from the latest issue of Famitsu shows off the woman above, and as some of you can already tell, almost certainly has to be Jill Valentine, the "master of the lock pick" and heroine of the first and third games in the franchise as well as series-butchering title The Umbrella Chronicles. For those of you who think it is actually Claire Redfield please pause and remember that Claire is a redhead.
Another female character is present in the latest batch of images, this one being a blond dressed in a red skirt and a white cut-off sweater. The image is only of her from behind so you'll have to speculate on this one. In my opinion however, given that this title takes place 10 years after the events of Raccoon City its possible that it may be Sherry Berkin, daughter of scientist who created the G virus which lead to the mountain town's ultimate destruction. Of course, it might even be just a new character for the franchise but who knows? Either way I can't wait till Capcom's Gamers Day to learn more.
